The Project
From an Existing Pond to Reclaimed Ground
The property owner was preparing to sell a second lot in High Meadow Estates, but a large existing pond occupied a significant portion of the property and was making the lot harder to market.
The goal was to remove that obstacle by draining the pond, bringing in fill material, and rebuilding the former basin into reclaimed ground that would be easier for a future buyer to use and envision.
The work required coordinated truck access, material delivery, unloading, placement, and final shaping to transform the former pond area into a cleaner and more practical piece of the property.

Draining the Basin and Bringing in the Fill
Once the pond was drained, the former basin was ready for fill material. Dump trucks brought material into the High Meadow Estates property, unloaded it into the work area, and supported the process of rebuilding the grade.
The aerial images show the scale of the operation and the logistics required to move enough material onto the property to eliminate the former pond and reclaim the lot.
How the Project Moved Forward
Four Parts of the Transformation
The work moved through a practical sequence designed around getting the pond out of the property layout and restoring the former basin with imported material.
Drain the Pond
The existing body of water was drained so the basin could be accessed for the filling process.
Prepare the Work Area
The drained pond area was opened up for truck access, material delivery, and earthwork operations.
Bring in Fill Material
Dump trucks delivered imported material to build the former basin back toward the surrounding grade.
Shape the Finished Area
The filled area was shaped and cleaned up to leave the property with a more usable final result.

The Pond Was Gone. The Ground Was Back.
The completed project removed the oversized pond from the second lot and replaced it with reclaimed ground, giving future buyers more flexibility in how they could use the property and helping the owner present a more marketable lot in High Meadow Estates.
For this property, the goal was not to build or restore a pond. It was to remove one that had become an obstacle to the owner's plans for the lot. Every property is different, but sometimes the right improvement is not adding something new — it is removing what is holding the land back.
